Savings Confusion

The popularity of Cash ISAs has reduced considerably over the past year as interest rates have fallen. Furthermore, the introduction of the Personal Savings Allowance from April 6th this year will see all interest paid gross by banks and building societies and the first £1,000 will be tax-free for basic rate tax payers (£500 for higher rate tax payers).
